Both guys agree that a lot of story that gets cut often turns into backstory and informs the characters even if it's not shown on the pages. Then Ross digs deep into Audrey's backstory and talks about how she's changed over the course of Wet Moon. That spins into a conversation about Wolverine's backstory.

Again, the stats are suspect... but similar to Episode #32, I can guarantee that this one is largely popular due to the "fan art effect" (our podcasts that link to sexy fan art images always get more visits than our other podcasts). Anyway, this episode is unique because it's actually the second take because the first try didn't properly record. • Episode #80 - Future Garbage - Originally, I was planning on putting Episode #82 in this spot, but I changed my mind because this is the infamous episode that officially broke Ross's spirit by forcing him to rewatch The Garbage Pail Kids Movie. Plus, our conversation of X-Men:TAS episode 13 is really funny. Featuring Justique, Kaylie, and Kelly.

If I didn't include your favorite episodes on this list, let me know! I chose these shows based upon a few different factors: number of listens, content of the conversation, and the era during which it was recorded. Anyway, this is only "v1" because we have a ton of other good shows that I intended to spotlight again at some point.

The Epic X-Men TV Review Endurance Marathon Extravaganza continues with X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 36 ) and X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 37 )! Mojo hosts a backyard bonfire, Ross's screen caps, Nick's screen caps, and Nick can't handle anymore X-Men: The Animated Series.

Ross liked X-Men: First Class but also thought there was a bunch of just okay stuff mixed in. Nick thought it was average, but it lacked mystery. Both agree that it lacked positive diversity in the cast. And when does FOX's option on the X-Men properties run out?

IN TWO WEEKS: X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 38 ) and X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 39 ) and other stuff.

EXTREME #34-35! Nick finally watched X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 34 ) and loves it. Ross thinks X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 35 ) sucks. PLUS: Ross has announcement!!! MORE: Giant-sized screen caps! One + Two + Three + Four + Five = fun with Apocalypse.

Then Ross and Nick talk about... WORKING FROM HOME! Nick lost track of time on Monday and it was brutal. Ross has lost his sense of day-to-day time from working from home. It's easy to lose contact with the rest of the world. Do deadlines help or hurt? Keeping weird hours vs. sleeping. BUT WAIT... there's good stuff about it, too! (And more bad stuff.) PLUS: The conversation takes a poopy turn towards clogging toilets. And then the show ends.

IN TWO WEEKS: X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 36 ) and X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 37 ) and uhhhh... more.

EXTREME #33-34! X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 33 ) and X-Men ( Season 3, Episode 34 ): Ross is confused about Super Haters and liked the HyperComboCast, the guys recap what happened in APWRAN #101, Nick didn't watch X-Men #34, the art is ALLLLL fucked up in it, Ross took hilarious screen caps, the Purple Man makes an appearance, Taki has a badass wheelchair, and Skids can skid.

Then Ross and Nick read some fan mail from a long-time listener -- Aaron -- and a brand new listener -- Pierce. Thx, guys!

THEN... it's guilty pleasures! Ross was invited to be on a "Guilty Pleasures" panel at TCAF, but he passed. Nick doesn't believe in guilty pleasures when it comes to comics (or any art form, for that matter). Ross can enjoy all kinds of stories. Nick coins the term "Snoborati" -- the comics bloggers that push notions of what are "good" and "bad" comics -- and goes after them!

That leads to a discussion of Youngblood #1-4... Nick never read it before but he read it recently and loved it! Ross reminisces about reading Image books in the 90s. And then the guys dive into a convo of the Youngblood story and characters.

On the whole, CallGraph is a great program. It's free, it's efficient, and it helps me record over a hundred podcasts a year. But every so once and awhile, it drops the ball.

Like last night, for example (and this time and this time and this time). Ross and I recorded a nearly flawless episode, sandwiched in between a lot of other good conversation. And, uhhhhhh, I hate to say it... but it's gone. Well, not so much gone as it just never recorded Ross and barely recorded me.

I'm waiting to hear back from Ross to see if he wants to record something quick today to take the place of what was supposed to be A Podcast with Ross and Nick #101. So the show might still happen this week. Or not.

But whatever it is, it won't be the solidness that was last night's intended #101 conversation.

Kaylie likes the excitement and new-ness of cons, but gets really exhausted. And Nick absolutely hates conventions.
