oh man i wish they would. PLEASE somebody take over the podcast. haha
I've had that conversation with friends about UK television. We thought it was a strength of UK TV that they have a larger number of normal-looking people on TV. For one thing, it's not just a lot of models in fabulous clothes and impeccable makeup playing every role. For another, placing less emphasis on "perfect" looking people means you've got more actors to choose from, which means you're more likely to find good actors.
