EXTREME #9! X-Men ( Season 1, Episode 9 ): The potato sack, did Ross watch it?, Moira's a sellout, same plot as X-Men 3, book shelfs and plasma cannons, Mystique and Rogue, and Cable's backstory.
And then we tease PART 2 by discussing the trailer for The Glasses! So be back here for the scintillating conclusion of The Mutant Minority on Saturday in #78 wherein we discuss... The Minority!!!

sorry i was such a deadbeat in this one!
not a deadbeat!!! you mean cause you were a little quiet here and there? we all have episodes like that!!!
and how do you like the screen cap i found for this episode? i had to search through the whole thing to find one that was unintentionally funny and that was kinda hard!
Nick, between you and Kurr (Ker? Cur?) i was cracking up pretty hard in the beginning of this one. i really want to see Cats featuring music by Queen. And it should totally be a podcast with Ross and Nick and Kurr now.

THX KAYLIE! but i don't even remember this Kur business... i'm listening to figure it out. OH IT'S THE CAT! i remember that. the cat rules.
for the record, Ken Marino is NOT in Buffy.
it's ker; when we first got her originally her name was socks, and somehow it turned into sockser and transformed into just "ker" and it stuck. that's how we've named a few of our cats, our previous cat who's dead now was called nano, which was the end result of "no-name" being transformed.
haha oh okay, i was wondering why your cats all had such weird names, i thought it was because you are weird. ;) but my family does the same thing. i named my cat Purr when i was little because it was like the only word i could say in relation to her, and my parents still have this fluffy cat i got when i was like 15 and a hippie so i named it Karma or something like that, but my parents started calling her "Grease" and "Greasey" because of how slinky and fast she was, which led to her being named Geezy now. it's good to know my family's not the only one that does that. XD

I left y'all a nice treat on the Audioshocker Facebook page...
@Kenny: oh snap! this looks awesome: http://www.facebook.com/audioshocker/posts/168465506518629
i can't watch it now but i'll check it out later and leave a comment!
Okay, well, even though Rogue (and Storm) don't get to do shit in that alternative opening and it kind of falls apart toward the end and has some weirdness...it's obviously better. So much more interesting, EVEN WITH my nostalgia for the old ending still having a hold on my heart. The Jubilee, Wolvie, and Beast bits are particularly great.

hahaha Rogue gets shafted so bad in the anime openings! i like the first and second one pretty equally -- they each do different things, some better than others. overall, i wish the whole series was animated in that style. that would have blown my mind as a kid.
The second one was kinda meh for me...but the first one had 2 awesome parts: 1 - Wolverine vs. Omega Red and 2 - CRY FOR THE MOOOOOON!!!
that other intro is pretty awesome! but why do Aliens pop up from under the street? and i like how Rogue and Storm are just Professor Xavier's arm candy, hahaha! so terrible! XD but i like Rogue's little close-up and wink toward the end, i think that's very her.

@Kaylie...those aren't just Aliens...those are THE BROOD! Those intros just threw in all kinds of random shit from the comics at the time, it seems...
yeah the brood looked badass in the opening. are they ever in the cartoon episodes?
OMC! You guys are amazing. I mean, who else references the State?!
Louie!

@Jason: Nooooo... you're amazing! I mean, who else references the band OMC? I LOVE THEM! "How Bizarre" rules!!!
Then *totally* not me. Cause my OMCs are a Strong Bad reference (a la "Oh my crap!").
