you know what, i find the skull necklace extremely offensive. i just realized that. the yoga flame, the stretch armstrong appendages, etc - i'm fine with all of that. but the skulls make me think 'temple of doom' which is just stupid.
there are only two things that grind my gears about dhalsim -- the skulls and the fact that his primary alternate color is this weird grayish tone. it's like he's either normal looking or he looks like a corpse. the other stuff is mostly goofy and fun, but those things are ignorant to me. if it weren't for the facts that dhalism is a noble hero in the game's story and not some sort of psycho creep, i'd probably actively dislike his character. still, it'd be nice to have an Indian fighter in SF that's a little less caricature and a little more character, ya know?
whose skulls ARE those around his neck, anyway? who has a skull that small, they don't look like baby heads.

i think what neal's alluding to is that sometimes Dhalsim is played as the "mystical savage" character... thus it's assumed that he shrunk the skulls himself. basically some Temple of Doom bullshit.
i know, i agree with Neal, Dhalsim's pretty offensive and stupid, but i thought he was at least supposed to be a good guy. what good guy shrinks people's heads, skins them, and then WEARS them?? O_O eat shit, Capcom.
wait - and is he wearing a bindi on his forehead in this pic (the dot)? that is for ladies.

at least r. mika has hearts on her boobs, though.
r mika is great. she should be in every street fighter game.
