    I liked your take on Eli. I still want to see it though, that and the Prophecy knockoff. There's a big problem with movies not having a twist that brings you off the couch shouting at the tv screen, but still are believable. Like Orphan definitely did it! Orphan was hot! That movie nailed the twist ending! When I see Eli I'm going to make believe that it's the Koran or the Lotus Sutra or something. I know Ross doesn't care for Lovecraft, but it would be cool if it was the Necronomicon!

    Btw thanks for the shout outs! Though it was a little obvious how you crammed in all the shout outs in the first few minutes! Like, "now they're going to listen to the whole podcast in hopes we'll take about them again."

    What happened to the hilariously upsetting fan porn? It's a staple?! That shit is not nearly as hilarious until you guys start cracking on it.

    After listening to you guys mention my name a second time (lolz how vain)... I have to admit it did not sound staged at all, so, please forgive my uncouth behavior.

    I would like it if you guys had a bit more planned to talk about. The banter works best when it's wrapped around something. Great work guys!

    yeah. andrew, the shout-out was totally not staged! i don't think anything is ever staged with these podcasts. if it had been staged i would have actually taken the time to remember your real name instead of going "that uh... mrplaid guy..." sorry about that by the way. heat of the moment and everything. XD

    i like having a topic at hand to discuss, also, but i think the sad reality is that, while i can't speak for nick, is that i just simply don't have a lot to talk about, haha. if it's not about Carl Weathers, Alien 3, X-Men, stupid horror movies, the sociopolitical ramifications and systemic problems of how racial/gender/sexual orientational depictions in the broader landscape of genre fiction affect and are affected by both people and endemic societal institutions, Ninja Turtles, or zombies, then i'm usually either at a loss for words or not learned enough. especially since nick hates Alien 3.

    i think one of the biggest things unfortunately holding our podcast back is that i have a self-imposed ban on making fun of and trashing comics because i'm in the field and would be burning many bridges if i went off about everything i hated. XD

    but yeah, if you ever have any suggestions or idea, feel free! :)

    nick, maybe we can do an entire podcast (or two) about weird fanart porn.

    btw, what's ff7? or was it just supposed to say ff? i bet there's some seriously twisted ff fan art out there.

    and yes, ross, i am totally down for your idea. maybe it should just be a month of podcasts about sick fan art.
