I'm gonna try something a little different for the month of September here on the Beatcast. This month will be devoted to "Building Da Beat" - instead of just hearing a finished song, you get to listen to the different layers as I build an instrumental track from scratch. Today, we're going to start out with the "skeleton" of the song, the drums. Be back next week to hear the drums combined with the next layer, the bass.

not to take away from nick's awesome new beatcast idea - but it reminded me of this video by Nyle: (which is just awesome)

hmmm yeah that's not anything like this beatcast at all, i promise. in fact, i'm not even sure what they have in common.
