Terminator vs. Man: Who Is Grittier?

So, I’ve been going on about how much I like the new Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. You already know how much I dig Summer Glau and Lena Headey, but who is grittier? Terminator or man? As you can see in the following clip, a Terminator can clean up an entire squad of dudes over Johnny Cash’s The Man Comes Around; that is a tough act to follow.

I was excited to see Agent Ellison get his ass handed to him so severely. But honestly, Terminator’s are much more menacing one on one. This scene was doing really well until the 2nd guy hit the pool. It lacked blood and reckless violence while relying too heavily on sound effects.

In the other corner, we have humans. I wouldn’t hesitate to say that Sarah and Derek Reese are on par with the machines in terms of ruthlessness. Take a look at this clip where Derek shows that he is both expert marksman and no B.S. badass.

Who is gritter? It’s up to you, but my money is on Derek.
